What happens
George Valentine is hired by Betty Connor to find her brother Ralph before the police do. Ralph, recently released from prison after serving time for bank theft, has returned to their uncle's house in Sageville, where the safe was robbed and their uncle violently attacked during the night. Ralph fled the scene, and all evidence points to his guilt, but Betty believes he's innocent and couldn't have committed the crime.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
