What happens

George Valentine is summoned to a college reunion at Seever University where two middle-aged brothers, Joseph and Douglas Durphy, claim they're in a dangerous situation. At the reunion party, Valentine discovers the brothers have been playing pranks and that one of them has apparently committed suicide using a suicide note written as part of an elaborate practical joke. But as a body is discovered and the evidence unfolds, Valentine must determine whether the death is genuine suicide or murder carefully staged to look like one.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
