What happens
Private detective George Valentine is called to Laura's House, a remote estate, by one of three schoolteachers who share the property and hope to sell it. Upon arrival, Valentine discovers that Miss Terence, one of the teachers, has mysteriously died in a room decorated with a carousel—a gift built years ago by a man named Laura's husband for his crippled wife. The local caretaker darkly hints that others have died in the same room under mysterious circumstances.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
