What happens

George Valentine is hired by Alfred J. Liggett, owner of the Golden Tower Department Building, to deal with a troublesome tenant named Side Bet Sinclair who lives in apartment 16A and has threatened violence against the wealthy tenant Mrs. Fairchild living directly above him. When George and his associate visit both parties, they discover Sinclair is an ex-convict gambler who parties loudly, while Mrs. Fairchild seems strangely fascinated by the danger he represents despite her complaints.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
