What happens

George Valentine is approached at a bus terminal café by a mysterious stranger named Philip Redmond who claims to be ill and asks for help getting registered at a hotel. When George discovers the man has actually been shot, the situation grows more complicated when two men arrive asking about Redmond's whereabouts, and the injured stranger is spirited away before police can arrive.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
