What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar is called to Las Vegas to investigate a suspicious insurance claim. Frederick Payton has died, leaving a $120,000 policy to be split equally among three beneficiaries: his nephew Willard Swift, his niece Doreen Clayford, and his nephew Kenneth Kermatt. Johnny discovers that Swift is a compulsive gambler deeply in debt to a dangerous loan shark and may be missing from town, while tension simmers between the two nephews.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
