Lieutenant Roseman suspects her husband William, though he claims an alibi with his girlfriend Jane Yu. Dollar interviews the key figures who discovered the body—private detective Paul Sacks and lawyer George Simon—to determine who killed Mrs. Post and why her expensive mink coat was left behind while only a cloth coat was stolen.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
