What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator, is called to Sarasota, Florida, by his friend Earl Foreman to look into a $2,000 claim against a chemical plant. Earl says the policy was requested by Todd Swam of the Chamber of Commerce, and the plant's exact location is kept secret. Johnny is taken into the Everglades by airboat to meet Dr. Alworth, a retired chemist who produces a rocket fuel ingredient there, along with his assistant Leon Salkoff. Johnny examines the vault where the damage occurred, and the case raises questions about sabotage and about Salkoff's past. The story is set in the 1950s and is the Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar series, broadcast on CBS Radio on 1958-03-09 with Bob Bailey in the title role.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
