What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator for Hartford's Master's Insurance and Trust Company, looks into the disappearance of two million dollars' worth of diamonds insured by oil billionaire Conrad Billings. The policy covers theft only by persons or things unknown on this earth, and Billings claims the stones vanished from his remote mountaintop lodge in Northern California, which is protected by electrified fences, photoelectric cells, and floodlights. Dollar meets Billings' San Francisco manager Norton Shields, travels to the lodge, and consults the Lakeview police chief Andy Prentice while weighing whether the claim is genuine. The episode is an installment of the CBS radio series Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, broadcast on March 2, 1958, with Bob Bailey in the title role.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
