What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator, is called to the Bronxville home of Virginia Haskell, formerly Virginia Van Doren, after she asks for help. She fears her husband Gordon Haskell is in danger from Paul Snowden, a former suitor whom she jilted to marry him. Dollar meets the worried Virginia at her house, where she describes her history with Paul and her marriage. As the evening unfolds, Dollar learns more about Paul's past and must decide how to protect Gordon, whose life is insured, while dealing with the tensions between the three.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
