What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator for Worldwide Mutual, learns that Tony Valentine, a former red light bandit he once helped capture, has been accused of murder. Dollar travels from New York to Oklahoma City to look for Valentine, and along the way he crosses paths with Sergeant Mike Thomason, a police officer who is searching for Valentine on his own. The story follows Dollar's expense-account trail as the search moves to a remote railroad shack and an abandoned oil well outside the city. This episode of Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar aired on CBS Radio on March 26, 1961, starring Bob Bailey.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
