What happens
Johnny Dollar investigates the theft of nearly two million dollars in jewelry from the Chadwick mansion in Hartford during the couple's fortieth wedding anniversary party. A charming stranger calling himself Mr. Thompson attended the party, and when the lights go out, he disappears with the gems. Lieutenant Donner and his officers search the grounds and the library while Johnny studies the scene and the guests' accounts. Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar aired on CBS Radio on February 26, 1961, with Bob Bailey, Edmond O'Brien, John Lund and Charles Russell among the cast. Johnny questions the timing of the thief's movements and begins to piece together what the party guests did not notice.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
