What happens

Insurance adjuster Johnny Dollar arrives in Miami Beach to investigate a $50,000 insurance claim filed by Mrs. Wendover two years after her husband's death at sea from a burst appendix. Hired accountant Hillary Fuchs explains the delay by Mrs. Wendover's chaotic personal finances and disorganized state since her husband's death. When Dollar meets the emotionally fragile Mrs. Wendover, she cryptically suggests there is something about her that would make insurance adjusters question the claim's legitimacy.
