What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar discovers that Carol Sharp has been defrauded by Madame Morgana, a spiritualist medium who uses trick photography and confederates to fake séances. When Johnny exposes the fraud with infrared photographs, Madame Morgana admits her scheme but reveals she was not working alone—her assistant used hidden tubes and whispered voices to deceive Carol and others into believing they were communicating with the dead.
