What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar is in Cape Town investigating the murder of Forbes, who was stabbed during a party where a valuable diamond called the Star of Cape Town went missing. Dollar interviews police and witnesses, including Sheila who reveals she saw someone leaving Forbes' room with a bottle of perfume, complicating the case as he searches for both the killer and the diamond.
