What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar is sent to Cape Town, South Africa to convince the wealthy but reckless Mr. Forbes to place his valuable diamond, the Star of Cape Town, in secure storage. Despite the stone's dangerous history—three men have been killed over it in the past fifty years—Forbes casually carries it in his pocket and throws lavish parties without knowing who will attend. Johnny arrives to find Forbes hosting a surprise party for his disapproving sister Agatha.
