What happens
Johnny Dollar investigates the death of Barney Slade, a man found murdered in an amusement arcade at Ocean Park, California. Searching the dead man's apartment, Dollar and Sergeant McKay find photographs of a former film star, Mavis Gayle, with red question marks drawn over them. They locate Brother Jarvis Pocket, a former film director who runs a rescue mission, and learn that Slade was once a film actor known as Tom Sanford. Pocket tells them about a chauffeur named Joe Fallon, and Mavis Gayle admits she had been near the arcade before the murder. Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar is a radio series first broadcast on CBS Radio, and this episode aired on November 1, 1956, with Bob Bailey in the lead role.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
