What happens
Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar is hired to find a missing Amati violin valued at $30,000 and determine the fate of Ricardo Amerigo, a once-famous concert violinist who disappeared when his car plunged through a bridge rail into a New Jersey river. The violinist had also been insured for $20,000, with his agent Thaddeus Corbin named as beneficiary, raising questions about whether Amerigo is truly dead or if something more sinister is at play.

Listen for: The mystery of whether Ricardo Amerigo actually died in the river or if his disappearance and the missing violin are part of a larger scheme involving his agent's insurance claims.
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
