What happens

Chief of Police Ed Blake is shot to death in his home in Greensport, Missouri, and his young wife Marty immediately files a $50,000 life insurance claim. Johnny Dollar arrives as a special investigator to look into the suspicious circumstances surrounding Blake's death, which occurred just three days after he took out the policy with his new wife as beneficiary.
