What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator, is called to Lakewood by his wealthy client Alvin P. Cartwright, who has had a valuable jeweled icon stolen from his private art gallery. Cartwright admits he hired a former gangster, Gummy O'Banyan, as an unregistered guard and let visitors in with little supervision. Dollar begins questioning the circumstances of the theft and the people involved. This is the 1960 episode of the CBS Radio series Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, starring Bob Bailey.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
