What happens

Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator for the Intercoastal Maritime and Life Insurance Company, arrives in the fishing village of Cod Harbor to look into threats against Meg McCarthy's restaurant, Meg's Palace, which is insured for fifteen thousand dollars. The village has no real police presence, and the acting chief of police shows little interest in the matter. Dollar begins asking questions about local business rivals along the docks. Late at night, after helping Meg's cook crew clean up a mess, he steps outside into the quiet harbor and notices a silhouette watching the front door of the building.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
