What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar arrives in New York to look into a concerning request from wealthy heiress Carol Sharp, who wants to change her life insurance beneficiaries to include questionable characters named Tony Ricardo and a psychic medium named Madame Cidia Morgana. Johnny's contact Tommy Green fears Carol may be in danger once she makes these changes. When Johnny encounters Carol in an elevator at his hotel, she mysteriously knows his name and agrees to meet him for cocktails, where she explains her belief in psychic phenomena and claims Johnny experienced precognition in his childhood dream about her.
