What happens
Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar looks into the disappearance of Bridget Preen, a former fashion model whose husband, Webster Preen, is wealthy and reclusive. Dollar learns that she recently renewed a policy insuring her face, and he visits the Preen home in the San Fernando Valley, where a nurse named Helen Richards guards the household. Dollar speaks with Preen in a hothouse filled with orchids, then finds a set of dental caps that suggests something sinister. Lieutenant Steiner of the police has his own theory about the missing woman. The Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar radio series aired on CBS Radio, and this episode is from 1957, with Bob Bailey in the lead role.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
