What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar pursues the truth behind Mrs. Palmquist's murder. Evidence points to Lonnie Miller, a drifter arrested for the crime, but Johnny suspects Dr. Palmquist himself orchestrated the killing and used Miller as a patsy. After discovering a flaw in the pawn shop identification, Johnny races against time as Eric Palmquist, drunk and armed, threatens to confront those he believes responsible.
