What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator, is warned by George Kane that he intends to take revenge on anyone who helped catch his brother Felix, who died after Dollar shot him. Dollar travels to New York to consult Lieutenant Randy Singer, who insists on providing police protection and sends Dollar home to Hartford under escort. Back in Hartford, Dollar learns that his telephone line has been tapped and that a man calling himself John Jones has rented the room next door. Dollar realizes that Betty Lewis, Felix Kane's girlfriend, may lead Kane to him, and he rushes to New York to reach her before Kane does. The episode is part of the Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar radio series, first broadcast on CBS Radio on September 4, 1960, starring Bob Bailey.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
