What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator, travels to Sarasota, Florida, to help Don Boomhauer protect Thomas Patterson, a Venice dairy owner. Years earlier, Patterson witnessed a shooting in Jacksonville and testified against the killer, Casey Carey, who has since been released from prison and now lives in Venice. Patterson is terrified that Carey will make good on his threat. Dollar talks with Patterson and the local police chief, who has been keeping quiet watch on Carey. The story is part of the Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar radio series, first broadcast on CBS Radio on August 28, 1960, with Bob Bailey in the lead role.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
