What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar is sent to New York by Pat McCracken to meet Peter Branson, an insurance executive worried about a $50,000 policy issued to Michael Jeremiah Flynn, a man whose address turns out to be the Glad Hand Rescue Mission near Fulton Street. Flynn has listed John Wesley Cosgrave as his beneficiary, and Peter fears the policy may be part of a fraud pattern. Johnny goes undercover at the mission to investigate.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
