What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar arrives in Nashville to investigate a suspicious accident claim filed by elderly millionaire Henry Sweetwater, whom his cousin Luther believes is trying to defraud the company. As Johnny and Luther drive to Sweetwater's home to confront him, their car is sabotaged with a bomb wired to the ignition. When they arrive at the house, a dynamite explosion destroys much of Sweetwater's living room, leaving the old man badly injured and forcing Johnny to reconsider whether Sweetwater is really the schemer or if someone else has a murderous motive.

Characters: Johnny Dollar, Luther Pennyroyal, Henry Sweetwater, Bella Mae Sweetwater, Padda Jane, Dr. Caraway

Listen for: The escalating danger as Johnny discovers the accident claim may be a cover for something more sinister, and the revelation that someone is actively trying to kill Sweetwater or prevent Johnny from investigating.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
