What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar completes his investigation of the Forbes matter by taking inventory of stolen gifts and tracking down purchases. He visits Sheldon Forbes in the hospital to get his signature on the expense report, and Forbes reveals how he became obsessed with Betsy Walker, a model and performer he saw at his office, and stole nearly $5,000 to impress her through lavish gifts and restaurant reservations. Later, Betsy Walker approaches Johnny in his hotel lobby to discuss Forbes's fate.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
