What happens
Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar looks into a string of deaths in which elderly wealthy men, each recently married, died of apparent sleeping-pill overdoses and their young widows collected large insurance payouts. Lieutenant Randy Singer of the New York police believes the four deaths are linked and has traced the woman to Hartford, where she goes by the name Betty Lewis. Johnny is dismayed to learn that Betty is the woman he has been dating, and he begins to look at her more closely. The episode is part of the Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar radio series, first broadcast on CBS Radio on October 18, 1959, with Bob Bailey in the lead role.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
