What happens
Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar is sent from Hartford to California to examine a claim on a hundred thousand dollar policy after Dave DeSalle drowned off a yacht. His colleague Bert Kenyon has already reported the death as accidental, but Johnny's employer Hillary Fuchs doubts it. Johnny meets Kenyon in San Ladeo and begins retracing the evening on the yacht, questioning the guests and DeSalle's widow. Suspicion grows as the investigation unfolds in the small coastal town. This is the first part of the story, and Johnny Dollar is an Yours Truly radio drama starring Bob Bailey, broadcast in January 1957 on CBS Radio.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
