What happens
Johnny Dollar investigates the death of Ed Morgan, a claims office head who drove off a cliff into the Pacific and whose body was never recovered, after Morgan's firm was found to be $80,000 short. Dollar's search follows Morgan's former companion, the widow Nicky Barrett, who has fled to Panama, where he tracks her to a small waterfront hotel. Their conversation in her room turns tense, with cigarette smoke in the air and a closet that may hide someone. Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar is the CBS Radio series, and this episode was first broadcast on September 12, 1956, with Bob Bailey in the title role.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
