What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar arrives at the home of Mrs. Kalen following her husband Eddie's death in a car fire three days earlier. The police believe Eddie was killed during a robbery after winning money from a gambler, but Johnny suspects foul play involving access to the couple's front door and begins reconstructing Eddie's final days through questioning.
