What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator, is called to the small Arizona town of Tuttle after Henry Kirkham, a client insured for over $70,000, is found dead at a rest home. Police have arrested Walter Pinkley, another policyholder who was Kirkham's beneficiary and who visited him the night before. Dollar is hired by Barton H.B. Hollister of the Greater Southwest Insurance Company to determine whether the death was suicide or murder. Dollar questions Pinkley in jail, then speaks with the chief of police and the other residents of the rest home, where a letter left on Kirkham's desk becomes central to the inquiry. The episode is from the Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar series, originally broadcast on CBS Radio on April 9, 1961, starring Bob Bailey, Edmond O'Brien, John Lund and Charles Russell.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
