What happens

Johnny Dollar is hired to find David Parsons Jr., who has been missing for 12 days. Dollar interviews Mrs. Parsons at their well-appointed home, learning that her husband is a quiet, scholarly man who works in business and was last seen 12 days ago. She insists their marriage is stable, though their relationship seems distant, with little discussion of his work or personal interests. Dollar then visits Dr. Stanley Warner to learn more about Parsons's health and state of mind.
