What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar travels to the Cape Cod town of Annisquam after Harry McQueen, of the Four State Mutual office, warns him that a client's life is threatened. Johnny meets Jean Weatherby, the niece of Captain Amos Weatherby, a retired sea captain who lives in a large, old house overlooking the bay. Jean explains that Roger Burton, a former fiance she broke off with, was thrown out by the captain and has vowed revenge, and she believes she has seen him prowling near the house at night. The episode is part of the Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar series, first broadcast on CBS Radio on July 26, 1959, with Bob Bailey in the title role. The story turns on the house's tall tower, its brass railing, and an unusual wire running near the lightning rod.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
