What happens
Johnny Dollar, an insurance investigator, looks into the death of Art Wesley, a newspaperman who was reportedly digging into a national gambling syndicate. Wesley had written a name down and locked it in a safe deposit box, and Dollar follows a trail from New York City to Lake Wateka upstate, where Wesley was found shot in his lodge doorway. Dollar questions Wesley's estranged wife Joan, who gives him conflicting accounts of her whereabouts, and a guest at the Lake Wateka Inn named Cooper. The series is Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar, and this episode aired on CBS Radio on November 11, 1956, starring Bob Bailey.
