What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar is in Mexico searching for Alvin Summers, who has embezzled $75,000. After being confronted at gunpoint in the jungle, Johnny is summoned to his hotel room where Summers himself appears, having grown weary of hiding. Summers is ready to turn himself in and return most of the stolen money, but the situation takes a dangerous turn when Gloria Harris, Summers' accomplice, arrives with a gun and refuses to give up her claim on the funds.

Santa Tomas, Mexico - jungles, beaches, and a hotel in town; also references to Mexico City.

Characters: Johnny Dollar, Alvin Summers, Gloria Harris, Lieutenant Gomez, Carson

Listen for: The tense confrontation between Johnny and the armed Alvin Summers in the jungle; Summers' explanation of his year-long fugitive life and psychological toll of hiding; Gloria's sudden armed appearance at the hotel and her refusal to surrender the embezzled money.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
