What happens

Insurance investigator Johnny Dollar arrives in the small Mexican town of Santo Tomás after receiving a cryptic phone call about embezzler Alvin Summers, who fled with $75,000 six months ago. With only vague directions and no name for his contact, Johnny checks into a local hotel and begins asking questions, while trying to figure out how to make himself visible to whoever called while remaining inconspicuous enough to track down Summers if he's nearby.
