What happens
Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Rochester, Phil Harris and their party are on a trip to Yosemite National Park in Jack's Maxwell. Arriving at the park gates late at night, they find them closed and spend the night in the car through a thunderstorm. The next morning they pay the entrance fee and head toward the Ahwahnee Hotel, getting some directions from a ranger and an Indian along the way. At the hotel they change into skiing outfits and head up to Badger Pass, where Jack, with some help from the ski instructor Mr. Larson, attempts his first day of skiing. This is part three of the Jack Benny series, first broadcast on February 18, 1940, on NBC and CBS Radio.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
