What happens

Jack Benny takes violin lessons from Professor LeBlanc, whose patience wears thin as Benny struggles with the exercises and the fee. Benny's friends Mary Livingstone, Phil Harris, Dennis Day and Don Wilson drop by before heading to the beach, and Benny stays home to practice for a planned concert tour. Rochester is sent next door to borrow butter, and the household's noise and borrowing create friction with neighbor Ronald Colman and his wife Benita. This is an episode of the Jack Benny series, first broadcast on April 14, 1946, with Jack Benny and Mary Livingstone among the leads.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
