What happens
Jack Benny is furious after a broadcast full of fluffed lines and missed cues, and he confronts his cast one by one, including Mary Livingstone, Phil Harris, Dennis Day and Don Wilson. Later the cast relaxes at a drugstore, where the talk turns to a magazine article by Eddie Cantor calling Benny the most generous man he has ever met. Eddie Anderson, known as Rochester, is tending to Benny's dressing room and payroll in the meantime. The episode is part of the Jack Benny radio series, first aired May 8, 1949, with Benny, Livingstone, Anderson and Harris among its leads.

Listen for: Benny's tirade over the botched broadcast and the cast's reactions to it
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
