What happens
Jack Benny takes the Beaver scouts to the Griffith Park Zoo while his valet Rochester and their friend Roy clean the house for spring cleaning. Roy's visit to the house prompts gossip about Benny's salary and his age, and the transcript covers Benny's search for Dennis Day, Mary Livingstone reading a letter from her mother, and the group's arrival at the zoo. The Jack Benny Program aired on May 11, 1952, on NBC and CBS Radio, starring Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris.

Characters: Jack Benny, Rochester, Roy, Mary Livingstone, Dennis Day, Phil Harris, Beavers
Listen for: Rochester's running exchanges with Roy about Benny's salary, and Benny's attempts to get the Beavers to the zoo
Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
