What happens

Jack Benny and Mary Livingstone set out for a ball game in Los Angeles, but their day keeps going wrong. Earlier, at Benny's Beverly Hills home, Rochester struggles with a broken phonograph so the household can hear a recording Dennis Day has sent over. Benny and Livingstone then head to the stadium, where they get confused about their seats, wander the aisles, and run into a series of odd encounters with ushers, vendors and friends, including Don Wilson and Phil Harris. The Jack Benny program aired on NBC and CBS Radio, and this episode is from May 4, 1952.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
