What happens
Jack Benny celebrates his seventh anniversary on the air with his Jell-O program, joined by Mary Livingstone, Don Wilson, Phil Harris and Kenny Baker. Mary and Don offer teasing congratulations, and the cast trades jokes about Benny's old brown suit, his thriftiness and his fading memories of their early days together. Phil Harris then insists on taking Benny out for a party at a Hawaiian nightclub run by a proprietor named Schlepperman, where a heckler, a surprise performance by Mary and Phil, and a request for a violin solo keep the evening lively. The episode is a light comedy broadcast on NBC and CBS Radio on April 30, 1939, and the program ends with a Jell-O salad recipe and a telegram.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
