What happens
Jack Benny returns from a week's vacation in Palm Springs and tells his friends Don Wilson, Mary Livingstone, Kenny Baker and Phil Harris a series of tall tales about his stay at the Bellevue Auto Court. Jack's tan and his claims about the desert hotel become the subject of teasing, while Kenny Baker sings Heaven Can Wait. The jokes shift to Phil Harris, who is said to be working on Jack's new picture, and Jack grows increasingly irritated. Jack sets out to confront the film's producer at Paramount Studios, and Rochester drives him there.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
