What happens
Jack Benny is pressured by the Colonial Yacht Company to buy a $50,000 yacht, and he is threatened with a lawsuit if he does not pay. Mary Livingstone and Dennis Day are with him, and Rochester is at the house. Benny agrees to a no-obligation cruise to Catalina so he can judge the boat for himself. The trip begins in the harbor, where Benny meets a fisherman named Mr. Kitsil, and the party boards the yacht. Dennis climbs to the top of the mast, and the others struggle to bring him down while the boat rocks and several passengers become seasick. The Jack Benny program, first broadcast on November 6, 1949 on NBC and CBS Radio, stars Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
