What happens
Jack Benny gets ready to leave Los Angeles for a personal appearance tour in Dallas, Texas. At his Beverly Hills home, his valet Rochester helps him pack, and the household is full of visitors saying goodbye. Mary Livingstone asks Jack to check on a job for her at a Dallas department store, and Dennis Day boasts about a Las Vegas engagement. Jack phones the lost-and-found department at CBS about a missing briefcase of notes. Later, at the airport, Jack tries to buy a ticket while his friends keep dropping in with their own news. The episode is the last show of the season for the Jack Benny Program, which aired on June 6, 1954, on NBC and CBS Radio, and stars Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
