What happens

Jack Benny and his cast say farewell to their old studio as the Jell-O program prepares to move to the new NBC studios on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood. Jack, sentimental about the room, is reluctant to leave, while Don Wilson, Mary Livingstone, Phil Harris and Kenny Baker tease him and carry on around the stagehands packing the furniture. The broadcast of October 16, 1938, moves through jokes, a farewell poem by Mary, a song by Kenny Baker, and talk of Jack's latest film and a Hawaiian pineapple. Lead actors are Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
