What happens

Jack Benny prepares for his annual Halloween costume party in Beverly Hills, dressing up as a hula girl while his valet Rochester grumbles through the preparations. Mary Livingstone arrives in one of Jack's old vaudeville suits, and Phil Harris and Don Wilson join the guests, each in an odd costume. The gathering turns to songs, popcorn balls and reminiscences of Jack's early stage days. The episode is from the Jack Benny radio series, first broadcast on November 3, 1940, on NBC and CBS Radio, with Jack Benny, Mary Livingstone, Eddie Anderson and Phil Harris in the leading roles.

Written from the episode itself; it never gives away the ending. Every recording is remastered for the stream: cleaned of rumble, hiss and mains hum (and the old TV whine where we found it), then levelled in two passes to steady broadcast loudness, so one show is never quieter than the next.
